Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole children from Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she reached the age of 16. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature models. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of important projects in both the US as well as internationally. One of these is the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and the French historic miniseries Napoleon. She has also been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
