Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole children from Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she reached the age of 16. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature models.
