Loren Gray

Gray's friends influenced her to embark on a journey of social media, and she ended up having much more success than the others. Her mom downloaded the app only to observe her. Loren's acclaim on musical.ly spread to social media. People began to react to her content and creating collections of her musical.ly videos on YouTube. Gray became a cult figure however, not all her friends enjoyed it. Instead of supporting her new business, they began to hate her. A few of her friends began pestering her, and then deleted their personal accounts. Loren spoke out in a UPROXX interview "They were able to write horrible comments saying that I didn't have talent and that I'm rude. that I have lip fillers and that I've had surgery. My albino was a problem, and I was anorexic. Loren's mother became concerned with Loren's mental condition and pushed her from the class.
