Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up in the vicinity of Tallahassee in Florida. Her birthplace was in Miami Beach on September 21 1964. She was the daughter of Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She went to West Virginia University, Florida State University and later graduated at the University of Central Florida. She was a theater and TV production, but it was only when she moved to Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd really learned anything about comedy. Lisa Kudrow was her first instructor. The actress began learning to improvise, and then sketch comical sketches. The experience has helped her prepare for the role of Larry David's wife on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). She feels at ease because the dialogue used in this comedy is all made up.
